Convince me there's a God-without leaning on scripture. Use reason, evidence, and logic. If God exists, truth should stand on its own

Hello everyone. Today I respond to "the Skeptic" regarding his/her challenge "convince me there's a God-without leaning on scripture. Use reason, evidence, and logic. If God exists, truth should stand on its own."

Very good post and appreciate the opportunity to respond. Here is my response.

Creation. The order of the universe precise. It is so precise it can be measured because it never changes.

The earth is sitting in space hanging upon nothing, just the precise distance from the sun to maintain life, spinning at the precise speed, tilted at the precise angle.

Gravity keeps us and everything else from floating away. The atmosphere made up of the precise mixture of chemical to allow us to breath. What we exhale everything green absorbs and needs to live.

How is it possible for the earth to be a sphere yet nothing falls off? Why do the bodies of waters remain in their boundaries and not overtake the earth? Could the answers possibly be that someone established laws to prevent and control all these things?

Our bodies are one of the most complex organisms the scientist has ever seen. So complex that after thousands of years of existence, mankind still have not figured out completely how it truly functions and why it functions in the manner that it does.

Why do certain parts of our bodies grow back and repair itself while other parts do not? Why can't I control my time of death and manner in which I die, of course of natural causes? Why can't I use my so called free will to go live in outer space in like manner as I live here on the earth? Why can't I use my so called free will to live underneath the earth in like manner as I live here on top of the earth? Could it be that, just possibly, that someone established laws to determine when, where, and how I can live?

The Lord uses the moon to control the tides. Why and how does it do that? Yeah, sure, science can tell us what because the what is revealed but they can't tell us how, when, and why.

No matter how much we learn throughout our historical existence, we always learn more then have to correct what we thought we knew definitively.

No where do we observe order from disorder. No where have we observe preciseness from chaos. No where have we observe true evaluation.

Explain where morals come from. Explain how children can be taught by the same person, live in the same household, loved equally, then one becomes a doctor, or a police officer, or a teacher while the other becomes a serial killer, a rapist, or a drug addict.

Explain how some are extremely sensitive to their conscience while others walk over it until it is seared with a hot iron.

How did our consciences become our internal moral compass from birth? From where did the conscience derive? Science can't tell us because they cannot reveal the invisible spiritual part of every human.

With whom do you converse when speaking to yourself? With whom do you converse when you answer? Why is it that I am free to make decisions but not free to control the circumstances and consequences of that decision? Why is it that others decision impact me directly or indirectly? Could it be that there are governing laws set in place that has not altered at all since humans roamed the earth, place there to restrain us from having total control of our own affairs? Could it be that the law of sowing and reaping is real?

You see my friend, we all know that there is higher being, whom I call God, who is responsible for all these things because creation screams it to every single person who has ever lived, to us who are currently alive, and to every person who will live after we die.

You see my friend, we all know that there is a higher being, whom I call God, who is responsible for creating us because that being placed within every human a conscience from conception to provide some semblance of restraint.

So, what's really the problem with there being a God? I'll tell you exactly what it is. You and I love our sin!!!!

We want to do whatever we want to do, whenever we want to do, with whomever we want to do it with. And far be it from some God to tell me what I can and cannot do. Far be it from some God to tell me when and where I can do it. Far be it from some God to tell me how and how often I can do it.

I want absolute and total control of my own life, GOD!!!

If we are truly honest, that's the problem with there being a God to whom one day we all will be accountable. It's okay, sometimes I feel the same way but then I realize something that absolutely terrifies me. From where will I get my next breath? I cannot control the time of my death neither can I say to death, not today. Will the one whom I offended by saying He doesn't exist, if He does exist, become my judge instead of my Savior?

Personally, I chose Savior.

Hebrews 9:27 (NKJV)

27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,

John 5:28-29 (NKJV)

28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (NKJV)

13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.

14 For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.

Revelation 20:11-15 (NKJV)The Great White Throne Judgment

11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
