Why did God allow evil and sin? Part 1

Have you ever been confronted with this question? If God is love and a good God, how can He create a world filled with evil and sin?

Most people will shy away from such a question due to their inability to adequately to provide a biblical answer. Friend God did provide several responses however the best one is found in the book of Romans. It really starts in chapter 1 and goes through chapter 11 however that will take us forever to get through.

Hence, what I have done is take the most direct route to answer this very important question. God explains the “how and a short version of why” He can allow evil and sin in Romans 3:9-31. The remainder of the meat of the “why” is found in Romans 9, the entire chapter.

From verses 9 thru 18 God declares that we are all condemned through conception dead in trespasses and sins. That our nature, not behavior, is totally depraved without any ability to know, seek, or communicate with God in any way, shape, or form.

Verses 19 and 20 God tells us why the Law was given. It was given "that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God." Why Lord? To let all humanity know that "by the deeds (religious behavior) of the law no flesh will be justified (declared not guilty) in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin."

All the Law does is prove that you and I can't keep any of them, ever. We didn't keep them prior to God saving us and we don't keep them after God saves us because it is impossible. That's why God gave the Red Heifer to Israel and the blood of Christ today both through confession of sins.

Verses 21 thru 26 is one of the greatest passages in the entire word of God. It fully explains what God did, why God did it, and the purpose behind the what and why.

v.21: from v.9-20 God declared us all guilty and sentenced to death. In v.21 God tells us how you can be pardoned even though you are guilty. His witnesses are the O.T. scriptures where in the Law He gave the sacrifices and, in the Prophets, He revealed the One who will be sacrificed.

v. 22: God declares that there are two righteousnesses, God's and human's. All humans obtain theirs from their earthly parents. All God's children obtain their heavenly parent, God, through God's Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ through God's faith. This faith and righteousness from God through Jesus are available to everyone HOWEVER only those who obtain it will believe. For there is no difference in any of the sinners meaning THAT THEY ALL BECAME SINNERS IN THE EXACT SAME MANNER, THROUGH CONCEPTION.

Psalms 51:5 (NKJV)

5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.

v. 23: God now confirms that everyone is born into sin and is guilty prior to coming out of the womb, worthy to be sentenced to death into outer darkness and the lake of fire. Yes, I mean every baby that is still in the womb and those of us who have come out of the womb. There are no "innocent" babies!

Job 14:4 (NKJV) 4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean?

No one!

Job 15:14-16 (NKJV) 14 “What is man, that he could be pure? And he who is born of a woman, that he could be righteous? 15 If God puts no trust in His saints, and the heavens are not pure in His sight, 16 How much less man, who is abominable and filthy, who drinks iniquity like water!
